Following his arrest and hospitalization on Friday night, John Stamos has finally made a statement about the whole incident. The “Full House” actor took to social media to assure his fans that he’s fine now.

The Beverly Hills Police Department received several reports of a suspected drunk driver before pulling over Stamos on Friday night, according to E! Online. The 51-year-old actor was taken to the hospital by police for an undisclosed medical condition. Once he arrived at the hospital, upon further investigation, Us Weekly reports that police arrested him for DUI, issued him a citation and released him to the custody of the hospital. The following day, Stamos was on Twitter to inform fans that he’s unscathed from the incident.

It appears the upcoming “Grandfathered” star is finally home from the hospital and doesn’t seem to hint at any lasting effects from his medical issue. In addition, it appears he's not upset with the arresting officers as he took the time to thank them for their care.

According to DMV.org, a privately owned information provider, the penalties for a DUI conviction in California can include anything from fines, a suspended license, mandatory DUI classes and even jail time in very extreme circumstances. Stamos is expected to appear in court on Sept. 11 for the arrest.

The news somewhat mars the upcoming “Full House” reunion, which Stamos will executive produce. He’ll reprise his role as Uncle Jesse from the long-running '90s sitcom in order to launch a modern-day spinoff featuring several returning cast members that focuses on principal stars Jodie Sweetin, Candace Cameron-Bure and Andrea Barber.

In the short amount of time since the message was posted on Twitter, several of Stamos’ fans responded to show their support for the actor.

“Everyone goes through stuff. Stay strong! Much Love for you!” one fan said.

“Happy you’re safe. Don’t make us so worried. Lesson learned?” another asked.
