Keanu Reeves is not only a big Hollywood star who has starred in many blockbuster movies, he is also a great human being. One particular anecdote of the actor surfaced online recently, and the fans see it as proof that the actor is the “best human alive.”

The incident happened back in 2001, when Reeves was in Sydney, Australia to film “Matrix.” SBNation writer James Dator was just a 16-year-old who was working at a movie theater back then, and he recalled the story of meeting the actor on Twitter.

Reeves had drooped into the theater to watch the Johnny Depp film “From Hell.” Dator wanted to get his autograph, so he told the actor that he could give him his employee discount, which would require Reeves to sign the sheet. The actor, however, was confused with the statement and simply said that he didn’t work there to get the discount.

Two minutes later, the actor walked up to Dator with a signed receipt that he got for buying an ice cream. The actor said that he didn’t realize that Dator wanted his autograph, and then handed over the receipt to the young man. He then tossed the ice cream cone in the trash and went ahead to watch the movie.

It was only later that Dator realized that Reeves bought an ice cream just to get that receipt to sigh an autograph. The post has got a huge response with over 18,000 retweets as of this writing. Fans who have read the story are saying that this is proof that Reeves is “the best human alive,” People reported.

Another story that has caught the fans’ attention is a video of Reeves playing with puppies. The actor answered some questions for BuzzFeed in the video, and the questions ranged from time travel to action sequences in the “John Wick” movies.
