Johnny Depp already has two teenaged children with his ex, model and actress Vanessa Paradis, but the veteran film star is now reportedly looking to expand his brood. According to a report from the most recent print edition of Us Weekly, Depp, 50, is hoping to have children with his 27-year-old fiance, “3 Days to Kill” actress Amber Heard. “He wants marriage, babies, everything with her,” a source told the gossip magazine, adding that Depp’s two children, Lily Rose, 14, and Jack, 11, are already head over heels for his bride-to-be. “The kids love Amber,” revealed the insider.

Prior to reports that Depp is looking to having a baby with Heard, the newly engaged couple made their first PDA-filled red carpet debut earlier this month. According to US Weekly’s report, the acting twosome, who first posed for cameras at the Art of Elysium gala in Los Angeles in January, were photographed kissing, smiling and holding hands at the premiere of Heard’s action film “3 Days to Kills” in Los Angeles on Feb. 12th. “Johnny’s very proud of Amber,” a source told US regarding the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor’s decision to attend the star-studded event, adding, “He wanted to be there to support her.”

While Depp has yet to address the rumors regarding his alleged baby plans, he previously discussed his love for children in a 2003 interview with GQ magazine. “[My family] gave me everything,” said Depp during a period when he was still attached to his children’s mother, French native Vanessa Paradis, 41.“[They gave me] a reason to live. A reason not to be a dumb-a**. A reason to learn, a reason to breathe, a reason to care. It gave me everything,” he later added.

Depp and Heard, who met on set of the Bruce Robinson film “The Rum Diary” in 2011, confirmed their engagement in January after over three years of dating. “Of course they couldn’t be happier to be engaged and excited to share the rest of their lives together,” a source told People magazine regarding Depp's proposal. Prior to the confirmation, rumors of the couple's engagement began circulating just two days prior when Heard was photographed sporting a diamond ring on her engagement finger outside Ago restaurant in West Hollywood.

The couple last made headlines after plans regarding their upcoming nuptials surfaced, a report from the UK’s Daily Star claiming that the pair is prepping to take the plunge on Depp’s private island in the Bahamas. “They’re having a small intimate ceremony barefoot on the beach in Little Hall’s Pond Cay,” an insider dished, added that the affair may include a performance from some of Depp’s musical pals. “Neither Johnny nor Amber want a big, glitzy, Hollywood bash. They are both very private,” added the source.
