Johnny Depp isn’t an actor known to frequently flash his wealth but that doesn’t mean he is timid about splurging when it comes to his upcoming nuptials to fellow film star, Amber Heard.

According to a print report from the most recent issue of Life & Style, Depp, 50, is sparing no expense while planning his wedding to Heard, 27, his former “The Rum Diary” co-star and off-screen love of over one-year. Not only is Depp planning to tie the knot on his private island Little Hall’s Pond Cay in the Bahamas this summer, he is also rumored to be shelling out a reported $4 million to make the wedding an event neither will forget.

“He is really preparing to give Amber the wedding of her dreams,” an insider told the gossip magazine, adding that Depp has even instilled the help of celebrity wedding planner Mindy Weiss and his mother to assist with the extravagant affair. “Johnny’s mom, Betty Sue Palmer, is also helping Amber,” said the source.

While previous reports indicated that some of Depp’s A-list pals, including members of The Rolling Stones will most likely perform at the nuptials, the insider claims that the famous pair want their wedding to be a confidential affair. “They want an intimate wedding on the beach… It will be so private considering Johnny owns the entire island!” added the source.

Report of the $4 million wedding comes just weeks after the couple celebrated their engagement party at Carondelet House in Los Angeles on March 14. According to Life & Style, the duo shelled out approximately $20,000 to host the star-studded affair.

Depp last made headlines after indirectly confirming of his engagement to Heard while in Beijing, China promoting his film “Transcendence” Monday. When prompted to talk about his upcoming nuptials, the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star replied by discussing his “chick’s ring” he was photographed sporting, calling the accessory a “dead giveaway," according to a report from the AP.

The veteran actor also reportedly discussed his fears regarding planning the big occasion at the press event, saying, “I think that I would be better at making women’s shoes than I would be at wedding planning. I can’t plan anything. I’m really bad at that stuff.”

Depp and Heard’s engagement was first announced in late January. The news came just days after Heard was photographed sporting a diamond sparkler on her ring finger on January 13 in Los Angeles.
