Actor Josh Duhamel and his singer wife, Fergie, are expecting a baby boy, the ‘Transformers’ actor confirmed on a pre-taped segment of ‘Live With Kelly & Michael,’ which will air Wednesday morning, reports said.

When the show's host, Kelly Ripa, gave Duhamel a choice between two onesies -- a blue one and a pink one -- Duhamel chose the blue one, thereby confirming that the couple is expecting a baby boy.

“He actually did it! You actually picked one,” co-host Michael Strahan said, according to ABC News.

Fergie, who recently changed her name from Stacy Ferguson to Fergie Duhamel, is expected to give birth in late August or early September. She announced her pregnancy in February through a Twitter post.

"Josh & Me & BABY makes three!!! #mylovelybabybump," Fergie captioned a photo of Duhamel and her as children.

Talking to the New York Post in February, Duhamel, 40, said that he is eagerly waiting for parenthood. “I’m not 24, I’ve got some life experience that I think I can impart. My mother was the disciplinarian and my father was more of a free spirit. Hopefully I’m somewhere in between,” he told the Post at the time.

Since Fergie announced her pregnancy, Duhamel has been singing to his wife’s belly to establish a connection with his son, the actor confessed during an appearance on ‘Chelsea Lately’ in April.

"They say they'll recognize your voice when they come," Duhamel said. "I'll take anything I can get...It's very important to me that we raise this kid right."
