Even though Daisy Ridley and Josh Gad are busy working together on Kenneth Branagh’s new movie “Murder on the Orient Express,” Gad cannot help but grill the actress for “Star Wars” spoilers.

Ridley played the mysterious new character Rey in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” and she will be reprising her role in the upcoming film “The Last Jedi.” Gad assumed that he will be privy to some “Star Wars” secrets given he’s Ridley’s co-star. Unfortunately for him, Ridley remained tight-lipped.

On his Facebook page, Gad shared a video featuring him trying to trick Ridley into spilling some secrets. He gave her a “script rewrite” supposedly from Branagh, where she was supposed to answer questions like, “Who are Rey’s parents?,” “Am I a jedi? and “Is Finn paralyzed from the waist down?”

The effort at least made Ridley smile, but she just shook her head and left the trailer as Gad called after her, “Daisy, don’t do this…”

It’s unsurprising that Ridley refused to dish out any spoilers concerning the new film. Disney is very secretive when it comes to its “Star Wars” franchise, and only chose to reveal the title for the eighth film last month. In fact, Disney might not release any trailers for this new film.

As for Mark Hamill, who plays the role of Luke Skywalker in the franchise, he said he’d rather not be privy to any secrets because he might babble it by accident. When director Rian Johnson was talking to him about the new movie, he told him, “Don’t tell me these things! I talk in my sleep!”

“They have us so jacked up with paranoia over leaks,” Hamill said, according to Entertainment Weekly. “It’s funny, back when we were making the original, nobody cared.”

“Star Wars: The Last Jedi” will be released on Dec. 15.
