The ECB is very dissatisfied with recent inflation rates that reached 3.2 pct, they are a temporary phenomenon caused by soaring food and energy prices. This phenomenon could be more persistent than we thought at the end of last year. But during the course of this year the inflation rate will likely be back near 2 pct if food and energy prices ease, as expected.
