Julia Louis-Dreyfus plans to kick cancer on the butt! On Thursday, the actress shared a selfie following her second round of chemotherapy.

In the photo, the “Veep” actress is wearing a black hoodie and sunglasses. She also has a draw-on mustache. In her lengthy caption, Louis-Dreyfus quoted some lines from Katy Perry’s hit song, “Roar,” including, “I’m a champion and you’re going to hear me roar.”

The 56-year-old actress revealed her breast cancer diagnosis via her Twitter account last month. According to Entertainment Tonight, Louis-Dreyfus learned about her illness one day after she won an Emmy award. In her tweet, Louis-Dreyfus also encouraged her fans to fight for universal health care so that they could also get insurance coverage to help them with their illnesses.

After the actress’ big reveal, HBO released a statement expressing their love and support for the actress. “We have every confidence she will get through this with her usual tenacity and undaunted spirit, and look forward to her return to health and to HBO for the final season of ‘Veep,’” it read.

“Veep” is heading to its final season and scripts for the upcoming episodes are already being crafted. However, there is still no official filming schedule for the series. In the HBO TV show, Louis-Dreyfus plays the role of Selina Meyer.

Last month, the actress told The Hollywood Reporter that she, her co-stars and the heads of “Veep” knew that Season 7 will and should be their last. “It became clear that this season. We don’t want to repeat ourselves or wear out our welcome. The story has a finality to it that it feels end-of-series,” she said.

“Veep” Season 7 is expected have a total of 10 episodes. As of late, it is still unclear how Louis-Dreyfus’ character will be written into the show if the actress couldn’t make it to their filming dates. The HBO series is expected to premiere sometime next year, which gives everyone ample time to figure things out.

Original reports claimed that the filming for “Veep” will kick off on Oct. 16, but this did not happen.
