Julianne Hough is on cloud nine after getting engaged with hockey player, Brooks Laich, in August. Nearly a month after the happy engagement, the “Dancing with the Stars” judge has shared some of her wedding ideas and teased that she might have her brother, Derek Hough, teach her fiancé how to dance.

People magazine caught up with the Emmy winning choreographer, who was at the Hallmark Signature Pop-Up Shop held during the New York Fashion Week Wednesday. It was there when Hough revealed how her soon-to-become husband “wants more than anything, to dance.” The 27-year-old star also said that it was something Laich wanted to learn, even before the two met.

Hough added, “So he's always asking me to teach him and I'm like, 'Ask Derek!' I'm just pawning my brother off to him." Should that happen, teaching Laich how to dance will not be a problem since the engaged star’s brother also happens to be a “Dancing with the Stars” pro. The two time “Dancing with the Stars” winner even joked that her brother and Laich “might have a first dance.” Hough also remarked that the performance would be “interesting” and “a sight to see for sure.”

On wedding plans, the newly engaged star shared that she already has “all sorts of ideas” for her wedding invitations and décor. However, Hough admitted that she and her fiancé are still enjoying their engagement and have yet to plan out all the wedding details. Hough explained, "Once we kind of figure out when and where and all that, then I'll start diving deep with that."

As for her wedding gown, the “Dancing with the Stars” judge told Page Six that she was using her Wednesday visit at the New York Fashion Week show to get inspiration, not only for her wedding dress but also for the upcoming Emmy awards.

“I haven’t thought about a wedding dress at all, but, hey, we are at a Marchesa show," Hough said. "I am actually thinking more about the Emmys, as I don’t have a dress yet. I am a huge fan of Marchesa, it’s daring, it’s graceful, it’s beautiful, it makes me feel like a woman.”

The 67th Primetime Emmy Awards will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday.
