Summer is almost officially here, and though many television shows take a break during the warmer months of the year, summer programming is just getting started. More than 30 shows will begin premiering in June, with a fantastic mix of reality television, suspense, drama and comedy.

The second season of HBO crime series “True Detective” will air on Sunday, June 21. This season will star Colin Farrell, Rachel McAdams and Taylor Kitsch. Meanwhile, fans of "Hannibal" can look forward to the return of the cannibal in the third season of the NBC series on June 4.
