In an Instagram post that has already been deleted by its owner, Justin Bieber likely gave teenager girls around the globe a near heart attack when he pulled down his pants for the camera and flashed his derriere this weekend.

The cheeky post appeared on Saturday and received an impressive 86,000 likes on Instagram before it was taken down, reported the Huffington Post. However, Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun may have have been thinking more about the thousands of mothers of young daughters who make up the singer’s fan base, when he raced to do some damage control.

In an effort to emphasize that Bieber’s stunt was done in good humor, Braun tweeted a short message to fans. "As a prankster u have to respect another good prank. only makes sense. wrote on Saturday.

“Haha,” Bieber replied in a short tweet.

The next day, the Canadian “Beauty and a Beat” singer was back to sharing more G-rated photos with his fans, namely a photo of his bedhead.

“Haha good morning hair. I look like a peacock,” Bieber wrote in the caption of an Instagram photo on Sunday.

The singer’s prank comes amid his recent split with longtime girlfriend, singer and actress Selena Gomez. At a private concert in benefit for UNICEF over the weekend, Gomez seemed to take a not-so-subtle shot at Bieber as she serenaded fans with “Cry Me a River,” the famous Justin Timberlake single that was allegedly penned after his breakup with Britney Spears.

"I've been through a lot the past few months. It's been weird and sad and cool," Gomez said, no doubt referring to her tumultuous on-off relationship with Bieber. "This song definitely speaks to me."

Coincidentally, Bieber recently sang the same song at a concert back in November, reportedly during an earlier split with Gomez.
