Justin Bieber made a big announcement today via his Twitter feed.

After many reported concerns among Bieber's tour crew about stopping in Japan after the devastating earthquake, the Canadian pop star told his fans today that he plans on going through with his performances in Osaka and Tokyo.

5 shows left of this leg of #myworldtour! Manilla, Hong Kong, Taipei, Osaka and Tokyo! Like I said ... we are going to JAPAN! #supportjapan, Bieber tweeted on Sunday.

TMZ had initially reported that Bieber's crew had concerns regarding performances in Japan in fear of another possible earthquake and cancer risks from the radioactivity levels after nuclear issues.

Fortuantely for the 17-year-old pop star's fans, Bieber confirmed that he had no plans to cancel any dates in his My World Tour series.

The pop star is scheduled to perform in Osaka on May 17 and in Tokyo on May 18.
