Justin Timberlake walked away with the innovator award at the 2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards Sunday, but it appears the pop star had something other than his career on his mind at the event. During his acceptance speech at the Los Angeles-based show, the "Suit & Tie" singer thanked his wife, actress Jessica Biel, and commented on their impending arrival this spring after being presented with the honor.

Following a long-winded speech, in which he thanked his mother, his management team and recited a few inspirational quotes, Timberlake, 34, talked about his expectant wife. “You can’t have innovation without creation. I want to thank my best friend, my favorite collaborator, my wife, Jessica, at home, who is watching,” he said. “Honey, I can’t wait to see our greatest creation yet.”

After Timberlake’s comments elicited an excited reaction from the crowd, he added a humorous statement about his preparations for fatherhood. “Don’t worry, daddy is headed home right now to innovate by learning how to change a poopy diaper and get my swaddle on,” he joked.

Timberlake confirmed that he was expecting a baby with Biel in January after posting an image of himself kissing his wife’s stomach on Instagram. “Thank you EVERYONE for the Bday wishes! This year, I’m getting the GREATEST GIFT EVER. CAN’T WAIT,” he wrote. He also teased the baby’s gender, writing, “#BoyorGirl #YouNeverKnow #WeDontEvenKnow #WeAreTakingBets.”

Biel first sparked pregnancy rumors in October after she was spotted sporting what appeared to be a baby bump while vacationing in Sydney, Australia. The pregnancy speculation heated up the following month after the 33-year-old “Total Recall” star was once again spotted sporting a possible baby bump while hiking with Timberlake in New Zealand.

While Timberlake did not address the pregnancy rumors, he did post of a photo of himself with his arm wrapped around Biel as the two looked over the New Zealand coastline. “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it,” read the image’s caption, a quote from the 1986 film “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.”

While the A-list pair has yet to confirm a due date for their baby, previous rumors indicate that Biel is expected to deliver in April. Timberlake and Biel wed in October 2012 after five years of dating. The child will be their first.
