K-pop girl groups are supplying the sounds of summer. The new IOI unit, with seven out of 11 members, will drop two new tracks in August, says Naver News.

The IOI members are survivors of the 101 contestants on Mnet's K-pop survival show, "Produce 101." The 11 finalists, who became IOI, dropped an album last spring. "Dream Girls," the title track, was a hit.

Now, 7 of the 11 are back: Jeon So Mi (JYP), Kim Chung Ha (H&M), Kim So Hye (Red Line), Choi Yoo Jung (Fantasio), Joo Gyung Kyung (Pledis), Kim Do Yeon (Fantasio) and Im Na Young (Pledis).

Since a couple of the girls who dropped out were strong vocalists, "the girls [who are left] are taking vocal lessons and practicing dance moves," a YMC Entertainment staffer told Naver News.

In other K-pop news from Fashion & Style, the Wonder Girls — Yubin, Yeeun, Sunmi and Hyerim — have reunited. The new single, "Why So Lonely," came out July 5.
