Kaley Cuoco-Ryan Sweeting Divorce: ‘Big Bang Theory’ Actress Deletes Instagram Photos Of Tennis Star

Kaley Cuoco completely scrubbed all signs of Ryan Sweeting from her Instagram page Friday, just hours after news broke of their divorce. “The Big Bang Theory” actress and the professional tennis player announced via a statement by one of her representatives that the couple had decided to end their marriage after 21 months.

"They ask for privacy at this time," the rep said in the statement (via People). "No further statement will be issued regarding this matter."

According to Us Weekly, the 29-year-old actress erased all signs of her soon-to-be ex from her Facebook and Instagram accounts, while also unfollowing him on the photo-sharing site. Sweeting reportedly also scrubbed his Instagram account clean of any images of Cuoco and disabled his Facebook account.

It's been rumored for months that Cuoco and Sweeting were having marital problems, but the actress slammed the reports in April, writing on Instagram that the rumors "made [them] stronger."

Cuoco also gushed about the tennis player last week during an appearance on Andy Cohen's "Watch What Happens Live," saying how well Sweeting got along with her ex-boyfriend and "Big Bang" co-star Johnny Galecki. "Ryan loves him. Johnny loves [Ryan]," Cuoco said. "It's been a long time, so it's great. I got lucky!" She went on to note how amicable her breakup with Galecki was, saying: "We knew we weren't destined to be together. We accepted it and said, 'Look, if we ever break up, we will be professional.' I'm so lucky it was a mutual ending and that we don't hate each other."

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Cuoco's split with Sweeting went as smoothly. The actress and the 28-year-old sports star married Dec. 31, 2013. They got engaged in September of the same year after dating for three months.
