“Big Bang Theory” star Kaley Cuoco recently shared an adorable photo with her boyfriend, Karl Cook, with both of them wearing their retainers.

On her Instagram account, the happy couple showed off their perfect white teeth to the camera. Cook hugs Cuoco tightly from the back, while the actress sports a huge grin on her face.

One of Cuoco’s followers, Jess Blanchard Friedman, commented on how great Cuoco and Cook’s teeth are. She gave a shoutout to a certain Doc Greg who helped the couple fix their teeth. Friedman also noted that Cook is a very good patient.

Other than their beautiful teeth, Cuoco and Cook also shared an important occasion to their fans via social media. Cuoco posted a snap of her and Cook kissing while holding the newest addition to their growing horse family – Shmooshy. Cook’s bulldog was also featured in the picture. Cuoco’s newest pet has her own Instagram account, and she already has more than 34,000 followers.

Cuoco, who happens to be a professional equestrian just like her boyfriend, has competed in several events over the past couple of years. But in 2010, she was forced to temporarily stop after getting into a serious accident that almost cost her her leg.

During an interview with Ellen DeGeneres on the “Ellen Show,” Cuoco revealed that she fell off one of her horses and heard a crackling sound. She initially thought it was the leaves, but later realized that the thing that made the sound was actually her foot. “Then I looked, and I’m like, wow, my foot’s facing me… And I was like, that’s not normal,” she said.

Upon reaching the hospital, Cuoco was told that her leg could get amputated if she doesn’t recover well. Luckily for the actress, she did.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Cuoco’s cast didn’t pose a big problem in “Big Bang Theory.” In order for her leg to not be shown in the sitcom, the writers turned waitress Penny into a bartender. This way, she was always standing behind the bar and was shot from the waist up only.
