Performing in Inglewood, California, on Thursday, Kanye West was forced to cut his concert short after he lost his voice. It’s the second concert the rapper has ended early in two months.

While performing “Only One,” the “Life of Pablo” rapper abruptly stopped the show, saying, “Turn on the lights, show’s over. I’m so hoarse. I can’t finish the show.” The rapper was standing on his now-famous suspended stage when he made the announcement.

Being the perfectionist that he is, Kanye told the crowd he couldn’t put on a show without being able to perform. “I can’t let y’all have a show where I can’t perform for you. I’ll give everyone a refund,” he said. “I’ll do better next time.” It was the rapper’s seventh performance in 10 days on his Saint Pablo Tour.

Although Kanye was sorry for the cancellation and promised refunds, the crowd was not having it and booed the rapper for cutting his show short, 45 minutes into the concert. Following his departure, many fans took to Twitter to blast Kanye.

“I can’t believe Kanye stopped the concert mid F------ WAY WHAT THE F---,” wrote one Twitter user. “Kanye West just stopped his show lmao I’m done it’s a good thing I’m not a fan,” wrote another.

But still, there were some fans that understood why Kanye had to stop the show. “So many people @kanyewest stopped his show but people have to understand he lost his voice and he’s a perfectionist when it comes to shows.”

In October, while performing at the Meadows music festival in New York City, Kanye was forced to end his headlining set early after learning that wife Kim Kardashian was involved in a robbery in Paris. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry. There’s a family emergency. I have to stop the show,” the rapper told the sold-out crowd.
