Karrueche Tran is not ready to accept Chris Brown back in her life despite his apology to her in “Sex You Back To Sleep,” according to a new report. Brown and Tran dated on and off for years and parted ways in March 2015 after Brown fathered a baby with model Nia Guzman.
Urban Islandz reported Saturday, citing sources, that Brown contacted Tran following the release of the song but she ignored him. Tran has not responded to Brown’s song, which featured former One Direction singer Zayn Malik and Usher.
“He [Brown] thinks that he can just sing a sing for her and she comes running back into his arms, but it would take a whole lot more than that,” sources told the music website. “He did reached out to her again but she made it clear that she don’t want to talk to him. She is deeply hurt by him and not once so it is difficult for her to accept him back,” sources added.
“Don’t get me wrong because we all think that she still loves him, but she is looking at many things such as what message would she be sending to her fans and other young girls out there that are dealing with toxic relationship. Plus Karrueche made it clear that she does not want to be a step mother,” the insiders told Urban Islandz.
Brown has previously apologized to Tran, but he took things to another level by mentioning her by name in the remix to his song “Sex You Back To Sleep.” In the song Brown says he misses Tran and apologizes to the 27-year-old model for messing around with "Keyshia and Makayla, all the Georgia peaches in Decatur, and all the b------ in elevators.”
He then sings, “I just want you to love me ... Don’t test me. You know I’ll do it. You want me to say your name, girl? OK … Karrueche!"
In December, rumors cropped up that Tran was “eager” to listen to the 26-year-old singer’s diss track “Kae.” Tran reportedly made it clear that she wanted Brown to move on just as she did.
“She is eager to listen to it and listen to his new album, but she will not react negatively to it in any way. She wants the record and the song to do what it can do and be as successful as possible,” a source reportedly said at the time.
