The former L.A. Ink star Kat Von D has finally broken the silence and has revealed that her ex-fiance Jesse James had cheated on her with at least 19 women when they were together.

Today I encountered the 19th girl to add to the list of people Jesse cheated on me with during this last year ... , Von D posted on Facebook Sunday.

There was a time when I was confident and excited at proving the world wrong, because I believed so deeply in people's ability to change for the better. ... I did feel like it would be a positive thing for those who judged Jesse solely based on what they read in tabloids, to see that change is always possible.

Even though the tattoo artist was told that Jesse is a notorious philanderer, she still believed her lover. Now Von D has to admit that she deserved a big fat 'I told you so,' from everyone,' and wished she didn't have to say, 'You all were more right than you'll ever know,' but you were.

Before Kat and Jesse were together, Jesse went through three marriages. Jesse finalized the divorce with his third wife - Hollywood actress Sandra Bullock - on June 28, 2010.

On August 19, 2010, Von D and Jesse confirmed to the media that they were dating. James announced his engagement to Von D On January 20, 2011. However, their love wasn't always smooth sailing. - the couple's relationship was on and off until their final split in September.

“It just made me sad today to imagine him still in that dark place - where seeking validation through the attention of women takes precedence over being a good father, a sincere friend, a better coworker, and a happy individual,” Von D wrote in her weekend post.

I tried my best to go through all of this without venting, or complaining, or fueling more tabloid mumbo jumbo…[But] this is about me making peace with myself, and forgiving myself for making some bad mistakes, she added.

According to latimesblogs.latimes.com, last May, James blamed an abusive childhood for his lust. At that time, he was still with Bullock.

I was a terrorized kid, he said, adding that he received abuse from his father. I was petrified of my dad. It wasn't so much getting the ... beat out of me or getting my arm broken or getting kicked or whatever or punched, it was the in-between time. It was the fear of that happening again.
