Kate Bosworth has a new hair color and possibly a new man. The 28-year-old actress, spotting blonde hair with blue tips, was photographed with director Michael Polish on Wednesday when the pair attended a Coldplay show in Los Angeles.

Polish, 40, is currently working with Bosworth on the drama "Big Sur," based on Jack Kerouac's 1962 novel of the same name.

At the Coldplay show, attended by the likes of Channing Tatum, Aaron Paul and Camilla Belle, Bosworth and her director "were very cuddly . . . she even introduced him to Lindsay Lohan," a source told E!

Bosworth and her ex-boyfriend of two years, Alexander Skarsgard of HBO's "True Blood," called it quits in July. Interestingly enough, the two appear together in the remake of "Straw Dogs," alongside James Marsden and Dominic Purcell. The thriller, directed by Rod Lurie, will be released on Sept. 16.

Polish and his identical twin brother Mark are best known for their 1999 Sundance film "Twin Falls Idaho." The brothers have since written and directed numerous films with Hollywood elites, including "Northfork" with James Woods and Nick Nolte, and "The Astronaut Farmer" with Billy Bob Thornton.
