Kate Gosselin is not one to stay quiet. The “Kate Plus 8” reality star and mom of eight took to Twitter during the weekend to comment on child abuse allegations that stem from 2010.

The court documents filed by Kate’s ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, claimed the 39-year-old “physically” punished their children by hitting or spanking them. New reports from the 2010 case reveal Kate was also accused of negligence and feeding the kids “moldy” food.

After the documents resurfaced, Kate took to social media to clear the air:

Radar Online, which acquired the old court papers, reported Kate’s babysitter was also accused of locking the children in their rooms at night. “The children told the teachers that they were scared and that Alexis had broken a mirror when she could not get out of the room to use the bathroom,” documents filed in Berks County, Pennsylvania, claimed. The children also allegedly told the teachers they were “scared” to tell their dad about what was happening at home because “they did not want to get into trouble with Mother.”

The old allegations come on the heels of a new investigation by child services. In February, InTouch magazine reported Berks County Children and Youth Services was looking into accusations Kate was “both physically and psychologically abusive” toward son Collin, 10.
