Kate Gosselin and her brood of eight are coming back to TLC. The network released the first trailer for the next installment of her family’s reality series, “Kate Plus 8,” Thursday and it looks like viewers are once again, in for another drama-filled ride with the Gosselin gang. The four-part special premieres Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015 at 9 p.m. EST.

In the two-minute teaser, viewers are given a glimpse into Kate’s life without her ex-husband and former "Jon and Kate Plus 8" co-star, Jon Gosselin, 37, while she raises their eight kids, 14-year-old twins Mady and Cara, and 10-year-old sextuplets, Aaden, Collin, Leah, Joel, Alexis and Hannah.

While Kate, 39, is usually the one to bring a majority of the drama to the program, it appears her daughters are taking their mother’s place this time around. Unlike the “Kate Plus 8” two-part special in June, it’s not only the Mady and Cara who will cause chaos in the four-part special. In one scene from the trailer, the three youngest girls get into an argument while the family is on their annual vacation to Maine.

“She gets what she wants every time, Mommy!” Leah tells Kate in the midst of the girls’ fight over who gets to sleep in what bunk bed while Alexis looks on angrily.

“They just have minds of their own,” Kate says. “And I’m just like, ‘I surrender!’”

In another scene back at their Pennsylvania abode, Leah, Alexis and Hannah go head-to-head with their mom over her plans to give their bedroom to the twins. Meanwhile, the boys, Aaden, Collin and Joel, are unfazed by the transition.

“I don’t want to move! Mady and Cara don’t deserve their own room,” Hannah says.

“This is where we made all of our memories,” Collins says of the boy’s move.

“We got in trouble a lot in this room,” Aaden adds.

Despite all the forthcoming drama, several scenes from the trailer do indicate that the new episodes will also bring the fun. Some of the more light-hearted moments will include a lobster-catching experience, the family celebrating their dog Shoka’s birthday with a special cake, and even an uncharacteristically (messy!) activity, throwing pumpkins at a bullseye.

While she may put on a strong face for her kids, Kate does admit that raising eight kids on her own is exhausting in the trailer .

“I feel so overwhelmed lately that it’s sometimes hard to stay positive,” she says.

The new “Kate Plus 8” episodes will feature stops in Boston, as well as other New England locales, according to the Hollywood Reporter. In October, Kate and her kids were joined by Jon to shoot a garage sale episode near their hometown in Wernersville. Kate’s rumored boyfriend, bodyguard Steve Neild, was also present for the event.

“Kate Plus 8” premieres Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 9 p.m. EST on TLC. Kate will also star on Season 7 of “Celebrity Apprentice,” which premieres Sunday, Jan. 4, at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.
