Bingham Hawn Bellamy is the name of Kate Hudson's and fiancé Matthew Bellamy's baby boy, who the couple welcomed over the weekend. Hudson had been remaining tight-lipped about the name until Thursday, possibly because she hadn't chosen the name yet. The actress, also didn't know the sex of her baby until his birth.

Until Bingham's birth, Kate thought the baby was going to be a girl. The actress told Ellen she thought Bingham was going to be a girl because everything in her second pregnancy was different than her first. She also stated that her stomach and uterus, referring to it as this area belonged to her [the girl].

This is the first child for Hudson and Bellamy, but Hudson has a 7-year-old son, Ryder, with her ex-husband, Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson. It seems Hudson has a thing for musicians as Bellamy is a member of the popular band, Muse.

The 32-year-old Hudson is the daughter of Goldie Hawn (Overboard, Death becomes Her) and has starred in as many films, if not more, than her famous mother.

Some of Hudson's more notable roles include Almost Famous, How to Lose a guy in 10 days, The Skeleton Key and Nine. She currently has a film in pre-production titled Lovelace, in which it's rumored Hudson will play Linda Lovelace in the story of a woman who is 'used and abused' by the porn industry and takes control of her life by becoming a feminist and anti-porn advocate.

Hudson's most recent film was titled Something Borrowed (May 2011), which received 15 percent from the 'tomatometer' on Rotten Tomatoes, and only 55 percent from the audience.

Hudson has been nominated for one Academy Award for her role in Almost Famous (2000). She was also nominated for a BAFTA Award for Almost Famous.
