End of October will be a busy time for Kate Middleton as she is scheduled to undertake two official engagements on Oct. 27 in London. Kensington Palace has confirmed the details of the official duty of the Duchess of Cambridge. Middleton will visit Islington Town Hall, where she will be abreast with Chance UK’s charity work.

Kate will meet children and mentors from Chance UK’s early intervention programme at an event. The programme works with children aged five to 11 who are at risk of developing anti-social or criminal behaviour, providing weekly one-to-one mentoring with a trained adult volunteer. The charity seeks to improve children’s lives by introducing greater stability and support, and engendering a sense of self-worth.

The 33-year-old royal will then attend a reception celebrating the work of the charity and meet some of Chance UK’s staff and supporters. The engagement reflects Middleton’s interest in early intervention programmes, to prevent the development of more serious problems in the future.

Later in the evening, she will attend the 100 Women in Hedge Funds Gala Dinner at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. It is being held in honor of The Art Room, of which Kate is a royal patron. The charity offers art as therapy to children experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties, in order to increase their self-esteem, self-confidence and independence.

The 100WHF 2015 European Industry Leadership Award will be presented in the evening. The 100 Women in Hedge Funds’ Philanthropic Initiatives every year chooses a charity to raise money for and all proceeds from the evening. This year it is The Art Room.

Kensington Palace also announced that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry will join children from charities they support at a creative-industries themed Charities Forum event on Oct. 26. The event will be hosted by BAFTA and Aardman. During the visit, they will see the premiere of upcoming children's movie "Shaun the Sheep."

The trio will then join children involved in a "Shaun the Sheep" themed model making workshop and craft activities session. Later in the same evening, the trio will also attend the London premiere of "Spectre," the latest Bond flick.

Middleton and her husband Prince William visited Harrow College in London on Saturday. The 33-year-old British royal and her husband visited the college as part of their official engagement on World Mental Health Day, hosted by the mental health charity Mind.
