Princess Charlotte will celebrate her first birthday on Monday while her mother Kate Middleton will reportedly celebrate her daughter’s birthday privately with her husband Prince William, son Prince George and their closest family and friends. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expected to hold the festivities at their country home Anmer Hall in Norfolk.

It is expected to be an intimate and relaxed birthday party, following the busy schedule the Cambridges have had. The couple has just returned from a royal tour of India and Bhutan, and also celebrated Queen Elizabeth II’s milestone 90th birthday on April 21. Kate is likely to have invited her parents Carole and Michael and younger siblings Pippa and her brother James.

Meanwhile, the royal couple may take their brood to a separate celebration in Windsor, where the Queen marked her 90th birthday, or to Buckingham Palace in London, where George spent the morning of his first birthday. It will all reportedly depend on where the queen is based currently. This will help the British monarch to wish her great-granddaughter personally on her birthday.

When George turned one, William and Kate took him to meet his great-grandmother, where he had a special moment with her as the royal wished the prince on his special day. In addition, Charlotte is likely to be showered with plenty of gifts from her family and friends. The royal mom may bring out her camera to capture every special moments of her daughter’s milestone.

In addition, Charlotte's godparents are likely to attend, including William’s close friends Tom van Straubenzee and James Meade and Kate’s longtime friend Sophie Carter. When George turned one in 2014, Kate’s mother Carole hosted a Peter Rabbit-themed party at the Middleton family home in Berkshire. Kensington Palace released a series of pictures clicked by Kate of her daughter, on the occasion of her milestone.
