Kate Middleton, who is known for her royal re-wear, recycled her red Alexander McQueen dress for the third time when she stepped out for an engagement Tuesday. She was ready to join in to the festivities in the red dress at the Anna Freud Centre Family School Christmas Party in London.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s fire engine-red dress is from Alexander McQueen’s Pre-Fall 2011 collection and was altered to her size. It featured sunray pleats from the hips; the fitted top had long sleeves, high neck and an asymmetrical hemline. It is one of Kate’s favorite dresses.

The 33-year-old royal teamed up the bright number with a pair of suede black court shoes by Jimmy Choo and a black clutch. She accessorized with classic pearl earrings and her 18-carat engagement ring. She wore her newly cut brunette tresses in her signature blow dry. Smoky eyes and a hint of lip gloss completed her look.

Kate first sported the dress for an outing during an event for the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of Queen Elizabeth II in 2012. She then paired the dress with a matching fascinator, tartan scarf and dazzling brooch. She also carried a small red clutch and wore cream high heels.

The mother-of-two last donned the Alexander McQueen to an event at the Buckingham Palace in February 2014. Kate went high glam for the party accessorizing with gold chandelier earrings, black clutch bag and matching high heels. Her long brunette tresses were kept in side part and styled in waves.

A shorter sleeveless version of the same Alexander McQueen dress was worn by reality television star Kim Kardashian West in 2011. The British fashion house which designed Kate’s wedding gown in 2011, is one of her go-to designers. At the Anna Freud Center in north London, Kate joined in their Christmas party and the Family School’s end of term celebrations. She was greeted by children when she arrived at the venue in the morning. She helped families make a Christmas-themed collage on a wall using handprints.

The British royal also participated in a host of activities. She was pictured at a drumming workshop where she tapped along with the children to “We Will Rock You.” She was also treated to various performances by the youngsters, which celebrate their achievements.
