Kate Middleton appears in a new animation to discuss mental health.

Middleton, Prince William and Prince Harry are advocates of mental health. The Duchess of Cambridge, who is pregnant with royal baby No. 3, appeared in an animation titled "Talking Mental Health" by Anna Freud NCCF. Elle noted that this is Middleton's first appearance after announcing her third pregnancy.

"Hello, mental health is how we feel and think things that can't really be seen but that affect us every day and talking about them can feel difficult," Middleton says in the clip to introduce the animation. "A charity called the Anna Freud National Center for Children and Families have made this animation with children just like you."

The royal mom-of-two explains that the short film is helpful in talking about mental health, to know what to say and who to approach when one feels that his emotion is too much for him to manage on his own. The video is also beneficial for everyone as it teaches one to listen and help friends who are struggling with their emotions. "Sometimes it's just a simple conversation that can make things better. I do hope you like the film," Middleton says.

Middleton missed a number of royal engagements after the palace announced her third pregnancy because the Duchess of Cambridge is suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum. In fact, she was not able to accompany Prince George on his first day of school. Middleton has been plagued with the same condition for during her first and second pregnancy and it continues on her third.

According to an expert, Middleton's illness can be life-threatening. Hyperemesis gravidarum is a thousand times worse than the usual morning sickness. Dr. Marlena Fejzo, who suffered the same condition, was hospitalized due to severe dehydration. She couldn't move without vomiting and even struggled to do her daily routine on her own like sitting up, going to the bathroom, taking a shower or brushing her teeth. Fejzo's baby did not survive. Since then, she decided to devote her life to studying the said condition.
