Any rumors about Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton being banned from the BAFTA Film Awards have been shut down.

On Friday, the official Twitter account for Kensington Palace revealed that “the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will attend the @BAFTA Film Awards ceremony” on Feb. 12. This comes after The Sun claimed staffers at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts feared Middleton’s presence would steal the shine from the actors attending the award ceremony.

In a statement released on Tuesday, BAFTA called the claims “nonsense,” saying the reports were “completely untrue that BAFTA has suggested that our president attend on his own. We would be delighted to welcome Their Royal Highnesses any year that they are able to attend.”

While some believe Middleton will steal the spotlight from the other stars, there will be a number of high-profile celebrities at the event. British actors Emily Blunt and Naomie Harris are both believed to be attending.

Blunt is nominated for best actress in a leading role for her role in “The Girl on the Train,” while Harris is nominated for best actress in a supporting role for her part in “Moonlight.” Other stars nominated for awards including Ryan Gosling, Andrew Garfield, Amy Adams, Meryl Streep, Dev Patel, Nicole Kidman and Natalie Portman.

Although it will be Middleton’s first time attending the award show, she and husband Prince William, The Duke of Cambridge, did attend a BAFTA gala in Los Angeles in 2009. At the dinner, the two were joined by Tom Hanks, Barbara Streisand, Jennifer Lopez, Stephen Fry and Gordon Ramsay.

At the time, Nicole Kidman described what it was like having the two there. “I think they are lovely, they just make you smile,” she told Hello magazine.

The 2017 BAFTA Awards will be held on Feb. 12 at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
