Kate Middleton is reportedly pregnant with a twin of boy and girl, a news which has gone viral around the Internet. However, the Buckingham Palace said that it's a pure rumor and Kate isn't expecting currently, leave alone twins.
This is the third time Star magazine has reported Kate to be pregnant this year. This time the magazine has described very vividly, saying Kate is pregnant with a twin - a boy and a girl - and Prince William almost collapsed with joy.
“William almost collapsed with joy – and relief – when Kate called to tell him she was pregnant,” the magazine cited a nameless source as saying.
The magazine even quoted that Buckingham Palace was “abuzz with word that the first-ever royal twins are on the way!” The so-called “sources” of Star said, “Doctors confirmed the exciting baby news exactly 100 days after the April 29 royal wedding.”
However, “William and Kate want to keep the news secret until she is at least through her first trimester,” Star claimed.
Royal biographer Christopher Wilson said, “Kate was under enormous stress to produce an heir quickly. If she delivers healthy twins, it will be wonderful news – a royal first.”
But a spokesperson for Buckingham Palace told Gossip Cop that the story is “NOT true,” laughing off the rumor.
According to the royal tradition, Princess Diana, Prince William's mother, conceived in July 1981, five months after her wedding and even Queen Elizabeth II, Prince William's grandmother, married in November 1947 and gave birth to Prince Charles in a year.
Hence, not surprisingly, Kate is under pressure to conceive an heir to the throne soon and the world is waiting for the good news.
But the royal couple seems to be currently enjoying their own special, romantic moments. The newly married traveled around North America and enjoyed the ordinary activities of life such as having home-cooked meals, laughing over silly comedies, slipping into a theater for a movie and spending time alone, according to OK! Magazine.
