Prince William and Kate Middleton are excited to see Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tie the knot.

Prince Harry and the "Suits" actress have finally announced their engagement on Monday, Nov. 28. Following the big reveal, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released a statement congratulating the newly engaged couple. "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge said of the engagement: 'We are very excited for Harry and Meghan. It has been wonderful getting to know Meghan and to see how happy she and Harry are together," Kensington Palace wrote on Twitter.

Aside from Prince William and Middleton, most of the royals, including Queen Elizabeth II, have extended their warm greetings and support for Prince Harry and Markle's decision to get married. Prince Harry's grandparents also released a statement expressing their well-wishes for the happy couple via social media. "The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted for the couple and wish them every happiness," the royal family posted via Twitter.

Prince Harry's father, Prince Charles, and Camilla Parker-Bowles are also pleased with his engagement to Markle. "On the news of Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle's engagement, The Prince of Wales, speaking for himself and The Duchess of Cornwall, said: 'We're thrilled. We're both thrilled. We hope they'll be very happy indeed," Clarence House wrote on Twitter.

According to previous reports, Middleton will help Markle adjust to the royal life waiting for her following her wedding to Prince Harry. The Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry share a good relationship as sister-in-law and brother-in-law, so Middleton and Markle will likely get along because the former will be the latter's mentor.

When Middleton joined the British royal family, she was assisted by Sophie, the Countess of Wessex. This time, it is her turn to fulfill the same role for the "Horrible Bosses" star.

Middleton and Markle are close in age, so they will likely develop a close bond similar to that of Princess Diana and Sarah Ferguson's royal sisterhood. This is possible given that they will also be living next to each other at the Kensington Palace. Middleton and Markle also have a number of other similarities, especially when it comes to fashion. Both are trendsetters, but their style has a slight difference too.

"I think Meghan's style is slightly younger than the Duchess of Cambridge and slightly edgier, but that's because Meghan is not walking in the role of a princess and Kate is," Ben de Lesi told Hello Magazine of the two women's fashion. "Kate has embraced it beautifully, with style and class. Sometimes it borders on being very safe but I always think she pulls it off beautifully."
