Kate Middleton and Prince William opted to take a helicopter to travel from London to Norfolk — a ride that cost taxpayers $7,300, the Daily Mail reported. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were both dressed casually to board a Sikorsky S-76C that landed close to Kensington Palace this week after their Buckingham Palace garden party.

The aircraft, which reportedly costs over $1 billion and is described as "the true luxury express of the skies," boasts a six-seat leather-upholstered cabin and a top speed of 180mph, Daily Mail reported. The helicopter was also used by Princess Anne for two royal engagements in Portsmouth before it flew William and Middleton home.

Hours before they boarded the helicopter, the royal couple attended their first garden party of the year at Buckingham Palace.

According to a Daily Mail report Friday, Middleton got some chilly looks from Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice during the party. Middleton was pictured wearing a fitted cream Alexander McQueen coat at the party.

On Saturday, William showed off some of his yoga moves while attending a charity polo match in Ascot, England. William was pictured wearing a blue shirt and white jeans.

Earlier this week, rumors surfaced that Middleton and William were going through marriage troubles and were heading for couples therapy. However, Gossip Cop debunked the report.
