The leading ladies of the British royal family, the Duchess of Cambridge, Queen Elizabeth II and the Duchess of Cornwall, paid a visit to Fortnum & Mason,

one of the most luxurious department stores in London on Thursday.

London Mayo Boris Johnson greeted the trio at the luxury store where the queen will reveal a plaque to mark the renovation of Piccadilly, a major street in central London.

Crowds lined the streets of Piccadilly holding placards to greet the royal ladies.

Kate arrived at the venue wearing collarless blue coat with two yellow daffodils for St David's day, while the Queen wore a sky blue coat and hat.

The ladies will meet military personnel, who are involved in the Gifts For Troops scheme at the landmark store and will also tour its famous food hall, long favored for its wines and delicacies.

The royals will later join some of the store's staff, suppliers and former employees at a tea party at the store.

The ladies will also inspect a cake to honor the renaming of the restaurant to The Diamond Jubilee Tea Station.
