Kate Middleton looks chic and fab in the recent royal portrait released by the palace, but what most don't know is that the Duchess of Cambridge's outfit is not brand new.

According to Us Weekly, the Duchess of Cambridge re-wears an outfit that she previously wore for the royal portrait. The photo was used for the family holiday card.

In the snap, Middleton wears a pale blue Catherine Walker suit. The ensemble is filled with feminine accouterments and includes a peplum belted waist and a peter pan collar.

Prince William's wife was photographed wearing the same outfit during the Duchess of Cornwall's 70th birthday in July. That was not the first time Middleton wore it. In 2016, she also chose the same dress when she went on her first solo overseas trip to the Netherlands to meet King Willem-Alexander at Villa Eikenhorst.

Middleton is known for re-wearing her outfit. Thus, it's not a big deal to see her in the same ensemble on different occasions.

Daily News has a long list of the Duchess of Cambridge in her repeat outfit. For instance, Middleton was seen in her L.K. Bennett blue poppy print dress in Australia in 2014 while touring Brisbane. She was photographed in the same outfit in 2016 when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge went to tour Youthscape. To make a slight difference, she swapped her accessories.

Middleton also recycled her Tory Burch dress that she first used in New Zealand in 2014 by wearing it on Oct. 10, 2015, again for an event in London. Another set of Middleton's favorite outfit is her J Brand Jeans, Stuart Weitzman wedges and navy blazer outfit. She was photographed wearing the same items altogether in 2012, 2013 and 2014.

Middleton's favorite brands for her ensemble include Zara, Reiss, Le Chameau, Topshop, Alexander McQueen, Jenny Packham and Mulberry. Although the Duchess of Cambridge remains one of the most influential symbols in fashion, her future sister-in-law, Meghan Markle, surpasses her in Lyst's Fashion Influence for 2017.

Prince Harry's fiancée is in the fourth spot while Middleton is in the fifth. According to Lyst, Middleton "continues to spark global demand for her looks- this year caused dresses by Erdem, L.K. Bennett, Roland Mouret and Dolce & Gabbana to sell out in seconds."
