Kate Middleton is already showing.

On Tuesday, the Duchess of Cambridge made her first public appearance since the announcement of her third pregnancy in September. Middleton hosted a reception for World Mental Health Day that honored the people working in the mental health sector across the UK. Middleton's husband, Prince William, and brother-in-law Prince Harry, who are also mental health advocates, were present during the ceremony as well.

For the event, Middleton donned a blue Temperley London dress that showed off her growing baby bump. In the photos shared by Us Weekly, the Duchess of Cambridge seemed to be stress-free and was noticeably in her best condition despite suffering from severe morning sickness over the past several weeks. Middleton has been on a bed rest since Kensington Palace announced that she is expecting as she is suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum.

Last week, however, Middleton's family was reportedly convinced that her health has improved and that she is in a much better state. They felt that the worst of her condition was already behind them. "She has such a rotten time during this early month," a source told E! News. "But she's out of the woods now and doing well."

Aside from Middleton's improving health condition, her new right-hand woman, Catherine Quinn, has been hard at work taking care of the Duchess' engagements. Quinn was expected to have started her new role last week when Middleton's first public event was announced.

In related news, according to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams, Prince Harry will not be among the godparents of Middleton and Prince William's third child. However, Beatrice and Eugenie might be among his or her godmoms. The two Princesses of York were not invited to Princess Charlotte's christening, but they might be present at the royal baby no. 3's christening.

Fitzwilliams added that Prince William and Middleton will likely ask their closest friends to be their youngest child's godparents. The couple has not followed the royal protocol of asking their children's uncles to be the godparents of their kids, which supposedly entitled Prince Harry to be the godfather of their children.
