Kate Middleton has a new private secretary.

Middleton's new right-hand woman, Catherine Quinn, is taking on her new role this week. The Duchess of Cambridge has a royal engagement on Tuesday, Oct. 11, and Quinn is tasked to help the pregnant royal mom prepare for that event. Middleton will be hosting a reception at Kensington Palace for World Mental Health Day, HELLO! Reported.

On the said event, Middleton will be joined by her husband Prince William and brother-in-law Prince Harry. The three are mental health advocates and will be celebrating the contributions of those working in the mental health sector across the UK.

The upcoming event will be Middleton's first official appearance following the announcement of her third pregnancy a month ago. The Duchess of Cambridge is suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum or severe morning sickness. The same condition has plagued her during her first and second pregnancies with Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Due to her condition, Middleton missed a number of royal engagements and was also unable to accompany her son on his first day of school last month.

Although Middleton has been missing her scheduled royal engagements, she continues her advocacy for mental health. In fact, she appeared in the short mental health animation titled "Talking Mental Health" by Anna Freud NCCF.

In the video, Middleton appears in the first minute to introduce the short film. "Hello, mental health is how we feel and think things that can't really be seen but that affect us every day and talking about them can feel difficult," Middleton says in the clip. "A charity called the Anna Freud National Center for Children and Families have made this animation with children just like you."

Middleton's new secretary, Quinn, previously held the chief operating officer and associate dean for administration positions at the University of Oxford's Saïd Business School. She has an MBA from the business school and has degrees from U.S. and UK universities, HELLO! noted.

As the private secretary of the Duchess of Cambridge, Quinn is expected to organize official programs and engagements. She will also brief Middleton on who she will meet. During public events, she will stay close to Middleton, perhaps, a few meters from the royal, just as Rebecca Priestley has been, to hold gifts, flowers and cards when the Duchess receives any from the public.
