The official welcome of the Obamas at the Buckingham Palace gardens was much more than an event of political importance. It was a meet of two of the biggest style icons of the world - Michelle Obama and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, making it difficult for most to decide who stole the show with their unique fashion statements.

Kate was seen adorning a Reiss dress in cream shade, looked quite relaxed and suntanned after the royal honeymoon in Seychelles. She paired the bandage dress with black stilettos and a black clutch while her famous engagement ring glittered on her finger.

Kate has been a customer of Reiss for some time now and we are absolutely delighted that she chose to wear one of our dresses for such a wonderful occasion, TNT Magazine quoted David Reiss, the founder and managing director of the chain stating.

Michelle, on the other hand, looked equally regal and glamorous in a blue flower-printed dress in silk by renowned American designer, Barbara Tfank. She teamed the dress with a bolero jacket in bright pink hue.

The Obamas met the Royal couple for only about 20 minutes before proceeding for their ceremonial welcome.
