Kate Upton may be best known for her Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover that catapulted her into international model stardom, but the blonde’s time as a sports cover girl still heavily influences her.

Upton, a 20-year-old avid sports fan, took to Twitter last night to blast both Notre Dame, who lost to Alabama in the BCS championship game 42-14. But in the process, Upton also slammed the Jets, whose record this season is 6-10.

“It’s okay Notre Dame this happened to the Jets every week,” she tweeted on Monday to her 654,000 Twitter followers.

Upton, who is currently dating 29-year-old Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander, was romantically linked to Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez in the past.

According to the New York Post, Upton met Verlander while shooting a video game commercial for MLB 2K12 in February. The duo were rumored to be dating until it was confirmed on New Year's Eve, when they were seen together at the Ritz-Carlton on St. Thomas in the Caribbean on vacation.

Upton was catapulted into fame on the Internet in 2011 when she was caught doing the Dougie at a Los Angeles Clippers game. Though she was already famous, the video amassed an astonishing 9.5 million views alone, not to mention the 11.6 million views she garnered for her “Cat Daddy” dance video.

Next up, the buxom blonde will star in a Super Bowl ad for Mercedes-Benz.
