Katie Holmes may have struck a new romance after rumors surfaced that she and her alleged boyfriend Jamie Foxx have split. According to OK! Magazine, Tom Cruise's ex-wife and "Friends" star Matthew Perry have “sparks flying” between them.

The report said, citing a source, that Holmes and Perry “really like each other,” and have become “quite close” while filming the TV miniseries “The Kennedys: After Camelot.” In the series, Holmes plays Jackie Kennedy and Perry stars as her brother-in-law Ted Kennedy. According to OK! Magazine, the two have been “spending a lot of time together” after their shoot.

“There’s a real spark with them. ... They have had dinner a couple of times and clearly enjoy being with each other," the source said, adding that Perry and Holmes are “constantly flirting.”

However, Gossip Cop debunked the report Monday, saying that Holmes and Perry are neither dating each other nor are they flirting.

Over the last few months, Holmes has been surrounded with several rumors about her marriage and pregnancy with Foxx. Most recently, reports said that Holmes and Foxx have ended their rumored relationship.

Several cheating rumors surrounding Foxx have also surfaced over the last few weeks. Radar Online reported last week that Foxx was spotted holding hands with a blonde woman in the lobby of Shelborne hotel in South Beach, Miami. According to the gossip website, Foxx brought the “mystery woman” back to his hotel after a fundraising event before midnight.

In May, Radar Online reported that Holmes was pressurizing Foxx to go public with their relationship.

Since her split from Tom Cruise, Holmes has been taking care of their daughter Suri. According to reports, Holmes and Cruise got divorced because the actress feared she would lose their daughter to Scientology, a religion the “Mission Impossible” star follows.
