Katie Holmes’ Rumored Wedding To Jamie Foxx Is Off After Cheating Scandal, Report Says

“All We Had” director Katie Holmes is no longer getting married to actor Jamie Foxx, Star Magazine wrote Wednesday. The couple called it quits after Foxx was spotted with a mysterious woman.

The cover to the magazine reads in bold letters: “The wedding it off!” Underneath are three bullets that say, “Jamie caught with mystery blonde;” “Katie ‘totally devastated’” and “He begs for forgiveness at secret meeting!” A photo in the bottom right corner shows Foxx holding hands with thr unknown woman in Miami.

Holmes was shaken by Foxx’s apparent infidelity. “Kate was shocked and blindsided,” an insider told Star Magazine Wednesday. “She wasn’t expecting something like this to come out of the blue.”

Foxx and Holmes met at a Toronto restaurant to have a “tense” talk. “He swore nothing happened, yet still begged Katie’s forgiveness, pleading with her not to end their relationship,” the source said. “Katie was totally devastated and incredibly hurt after seeing the photos of Jamie with that woman.”

Now, the state of their relationship is in limbo. “Katie decided to press the pause button on their wedding plans,” the source said.

While Star Magazine’s story might sound compelling to some, it isn’t true. The main reason for this is there was no confirmed wedding-- or relationship-- to begin with. Despite endless rumors, Holmes and Foxx haven’t confirmed they are dating, let alone engaged.

Gossip Cop, the website that famously debunks celebrity rumors, slammed the cover story. “Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx’s (nonexistent) wedding isn’t off, because there was never one planned in the first place,” the publication wrote. “Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s ‘not true.’”

Fans of the rumored couple were elated when Claudia Jordan, a former star on “Real Housewives of Atlanta” confirmed their relationship. She later corrected herself, saying she misspoke. “I have no knowledge of Jamie with Katie at all,” the reality star told Entertainment Tonight Online last month. “I've never seen them together, he's never told me he's dating her.”
