Katy Perry really loves her grandmother Ann Hudson. The singer-songwriter has always greeted her grandma on the latter’s special day. As Hudson turns 96 this year, the “Roar” songstress did not miss the chance to post a shoutout to the almost-centennial family member.

On Sunday, Perry took to Instagram to share a snap of her grandmother seated on a wheelchair in front of a large blue backdrop. Orlando Bloom’s girlfriend greeted Hudson in the post, and she also highlighted how her grandma has four more years before she celebrates her 100th birthday.

Many fans of the singer quickly joined in greeting grandma Ann and left well-wishes for the old lady. One fan wrote: “I wish your grandma a happy birthday, Katy!” Another fan poked fun at the snap before greeting the celebrant. The fan commented: “First glance I though that was Drake doing a parody of Jimmy from ‘Degrassi.’ Nope! My bad! Happy b-day g-ma!”

Bloom also recently celebrated the birthday of someone special to him. Apparently, his son with ex-wife Miranda Kerr, Flynn Christopher, turned 6 last Friday. The movie actor did not reveal how they celebrated his son’s birthday, but he did show off to his followers on Instagram a cute scribble he got from Flynn.

Perry and Bloom started the new year with a trip to Japan. The lovers documented their visit to the Asian country on their social media accounts. The 39-year-old English actor even stumbled upon a hair shop that’s interestingly named “Trump.”

Throughout the holiday season, the couple has been nothing but inseparable. The 32-year-old singer visited the Children’s Hospital L.A. with her beau, and the two of them spread some holiday cheer with gifts and a song number for the patients there. On Christmas day, Bloom got the chance to bond with Perry’s parents and siblings.
