She’s a successful recording artist already worth millions, but Katy Perry has found a way to increase her impressive net worth even further. The singer has reportedly inked a deal with ABC to judge the planned “American Idol” reboot for a cool $25 million.

According to TMZ, Perry inked the deal because ABC was desperate to sign a name to the show before presenting it during Upfronts last week, and after being turned down by both “Idol” alums Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson, who each inked deals with rival NBC’s “The Voice,” they offered the gig to Perry.

“Katy had all the leverage. If ABC ended up announcing the show without a judge, they’d be screwed,” a source told the website.

The amount is noteworthy because it is $5 million more than Perry was reportedly offered by Fox in 2012, when they were trying to court her as a judge for the show. It is also notable because it is $10 million more than both Ryan Seacrest and Jennifer Lopez made on the original series, with Seacrest raking in $15 million a season during the show’s peak, and Lopez taking that amount home while she served as a judge.

TMZ also reported that ABC is close to signing a new deal with Seacrest to host the show, meaning he would pull double duty for the network, following his gig as the new permanent co-host opposite Kelly Ripa on “Live! With Kelly and Ryan.”

The new deal helps add an impressive new amount of cash to Perry’s staggering net worth. Forbes estimated the singer was valued at approximately $125 million in 2016, having pulled in $350 million before taxes since bursting onto the scene in 2008 with her hit single, “I Kissed A Girl.”

Among the ways Perry has increased her income over the years are her several successful albums and her follow-up tours. Her “Prismatic” tour reportedly earned her $135 million just from June 2014-June 2015, after she performed at 125 concerts in 27 countries.

The “Idol” deal won’t be the only way Perry will increase her monetary value in the next year or two however. Her fifth studio album, “Witness” is due to drop in June, and a tour has already been scheduled to promote it, with tickets already on sale.

“Witness” is likely on track to sell well like Perry’s other albums, which will help when it comes to further increasing her net worth. According to the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America), since breaking onto the scene in 2008, her album “One of the Boys” was certified Platinum, while her follow-ups, “Teenage Dream” and “Prism” both went certified Multi-Platinum.

Among her fellow pop stars, Perry only seems to be beat out by her known rival, Taylor Swift, and Beyoncé as the richest pop stars in the world. According to the Forbes “Richest Self-Made Women” list for 2017, Perry didn’t crack the top 60, though Beyoncé ranked at number 46 with a net worth of $350 million, and Swift ranked at number 55 with a value of $280 million.
