“Wide Awake” singer Katy Perry pulled a Miley Cyrus and chopped her hair off after her split from “Lord of the Rings” actor Orlando Bloom. With her new hairdo, some fans remarked she looked like the “Wrecking Ball” star, who pulled a similar move after she broke up with fiancé Liam Hemsworth in 2012.

Perry posted a video of the new pixie cut to Instagram Thursday. “Miley, is that you?” one fan commented under the post, which garnered more than 2.1 million views. “You look incredible!!! Love you Katy never change!!!!!” another fan said.

Perry’s drastic cut came on the same day her split from Bloom was announced. As some people tried to figure out which parry was the cause for the breakup, the singer slammed the naysers.

She took to Twitter to write her statement about the relationship. Perry denied there was any hard feelings.

“HOW BOUT A NEW WAY OF THINKING FOR 2017U can still b friends & love ur former partners!” she wrote in a Thursday tweet. “No one's a victim or a villain, get a life y'all!” The post was shared more than 6,400 times and garnered nearly 25,000 likes.

The singer, 32, hinted the breakup was the cause for her new haircut when she wrote, “I WASNT READY TILL NOW.”

Bloom, 40, did not respond to the breakup, but he was reportedly the one who ended the relationship. “Orlando didn’t want things to get more serious. Lately he acted like he had one foot out the door and Katy picked up on that,” an insider told People Magazine in a Thursday interview. “He went along with their relationship for as long as it was fun.”

When things got hard, Bloom wanted out. “Because it wasn’t something permanent, it just became time to take a break,” the source said.
