RTTNews - Kazakhstan's producer prices dropped 32.3% year-on-year in May, after a 27.6% fall in April, a report by the country's statistical office said. Economists expected the prices to decline 29.9%.

Month-on-month, the industrial producer prices rose 1.6% in May, after a 5.9% rise in the preceding month. Economists expected an increase of 6%.

In the first five months of the year, producer prices were down 29.2% compared to the same period in the previous year.
