Kim Kardashian has made it no secret that she and husband Kanye West would like to have another baby. Unfortunately getting pregnant has been no walk in the park. As she previously revealed, she is still dealing with serious complications from her previous pregnancy with daughter North West. Her fertility woes worsened Season 10, episode 4 of “Keeping up with the Kardashians” Sunday when the 34-year-old received some bad news from her doctor.

Kim previously revealed that she and her beau, who tied the knot in May 2015, have been “having sex 500 times a day” in the hopes of giving daughter North West a sibling. Unfortunately, as Kim revealed in a phone conversation with her hubby, her “placenta grew into her uterus,” making it difficult for her to conceive. Even if she were to get pregnant, doctors told her it would be very high risk and would likely be the last child she ever had.

“I feel like this doctor that I saw today told me every worst case scenario,” she told Kanye. “He’s like, ‘Ok, when you have your baby this will be your last one, because the problem is your placenta [from North’s delivery] grew into your uterus. So when you have another baby the placenta will go right to that hole and then we’ll have a team of doctors waiting right there to remove your uterus and put you into emergency surgery.”

As she shared on previous episodes of "KUWTK," despite the difficulties she and Kanye hoped to conceive the natural way. They were, however, open to tying IVF if all else failed. The couple considered a surrogate, but only as a “last resort” as Kim fears the woman carrying their baby may run off, deciding to raise it as her own.

“I wouldn’t dare ask anyone to do this for me,” she said. “It freaks me out, what if they’re a lunatic, what if they run off with my baby? I can’t do it, I just can’t.”

Doctors have given Kim one last option, though it is not the most ideal. Kim’s doctor revealed to her that her final option would be to “clean your uterus out and keep it as healthy as possible.” She decided to go ahead with the procedure with momager Kris Jenner by her side.

“I spoke to Kanye about what our next plan should be,” she shared. “And there’s one more procedure that I can do that would potentially make it easier for me to get pregnant…Hopefully this is something that the doctor can fix, and we can just move on from this complicated chapter.

Tune in to “Keeping up with the Kardashians” next Sunday at 9 p.m. EDT to find out whether or not the procedure was a success.
