The sultry British actress Keira Knightely reportedly has left her home country to settle in U.S. According to recent Companies House paper works, Knightley has been listed as the director of her firm Ponder Rights where her country of residence is mentioned as U.S.

The actress who earlier used to live in her mother's East London apartment had also set up a canal boat home with boyfriend Rupert Friend. Last month there were reports that they had bought a £1.9million country retreat in France.

If this is a deliberate move to avoid high UK taxes is not known. The 25-year-old stunner shot a Chanel commercial in Paris a few days ago filmed by her Pride and Prejudice and Atonement Joe Wright while wearing a camel color body hugging outfit with a matching helmet and motorcycle, a look similar to the 1960's spy character Emma Peel in Avengers.

Knightley's next film, Never Let Me Go is a sci-fi drama starring Carey Mulligan and Andrew Garfield. The film, based on the dark novel by British author Kazuo Ishiguro, tells the story of three children, Ruth, Tommy and Kathy, who grow up together after attending the same boarding school. The film will be released in US in October.
