“American Idol” Season 1 singer Kelly Clarkson has received hate online after sharing a clip of her 2-year-old daughter eating Nutella on social media. However, the “Stronger” hitmaker seems to be unfazed as she proudly shared a snap of her and husband Brandon Blackstock’s kids on the same day.

On Saturday, Clarkson decided to share another precious moment with daughter River Rose on Instagram. The 34-year-old recording artist uploaded an adorable clip of her baby girl munching on a piece of toast with Nutella. She revealed in the caption that the moment was special because it was the first time River has ever tasted Nutella.

Though the post was clearly harmless, many fans took it as a chance to point out to Clarkson what she’s doing wrong as a mother. One wrote: “Nutella is packed with sugars don’t make your kids blow up too.” Another commented: “Stop eating Nutella it’s been confirmed to give cancer.” Another fan also pointed out: “As a mom let me give you an advice, please don’t give that to your [kids]. Check out the ingredients.”

While Clarkson got backlash from some fans and concerned parents, others defended her from the hate and insisted that she should not listen to what others are saying against her gesture. One stated: “I’m sure she isn’t feeding this to er everyday. Everything in moderation is fine.” Another wrote: “To all moms telling her not to give her Nutella. Mind your own business.”

Clarkson herself is also not affected by the criticism she got for the video. She even took to Twitter to share a sweet photo of her and Blackstock’s children. In the snap, eldest daughter Savannah and her brother Seth can be seen happily lying on the ground with River and 11-month-old Remington Alexander.

Prior to tying the knot with Clarkson in 2013, Blackstock already had kids Savannah and Seth from a previous relationship. Last year, Clarkson gushed about her husband’s parenting skills during an interview with Ryan Seacrest, saying, “He's such a great father. He's in the room right now going ‘Yeah, I am.’ I used to be such a downward Debbie when people use to say, ‘Oh you haven't found the right one.' Shut up! It was like a fairy tale.”
