Cruise and Shields had a public feud after Cruise criticized Shields for taking antidepressants to combat postpartum depression. Shields penned an op-ed for the New York Times and took Cruise to task. Shields later told Jay Leno that Cruise apologized to her in person at her home, People reported. "It is true that his friendship with Ms. Shields has been mended,” a rep for Cruise said in a statement to the Associated Press, according to a People report. “He has not changed his position about antidepressants, which, as evidenced by the black label warnings issued by the FDA on these types of drugs, are unhealthy." Taylor and Fisher married but divorced a few years later. Reynolds and Taylor eventually reconciled. The two even later starred alongside Joan Collins and Shirley MacLaine in the 2001 television film “These Old Broads.” Reuters

When Beyoncé later won her own award, but asked swift to come up "and have her moment." West reportedly apologized to the pop country singer. She later poked fun at him while hosting "Saturday Night Live." Could Kelly Osbourne and Christina Aguilera be headed toward a reconciliation?

The reality television star and singer have had a nasty ongoing feud since the early 2000s that includes name-calling and weight jibes. The tension was quite visible during the 2003 MTV Europe Music Awards, where they exchanged verbal jabs on and off the red carpet (Aguilera hosted the show), MTV reported. Just last year, Osbourne slammed Aguilera for the latter woman's weight gain, calling her a fat b**tch.

But Osbourne had some kind words for the pop singer while appearing on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live show. He asked the Fashion Police commentator to say three nice things about The Voice judge, Us Weekly reported.

I think she's looking way better right now, she's got a great voice and she's got a beautiful son, Osbourne told Cohen without hesitation.

We have yet to see whether Aguilera will accept Osbourne's comments as a mea culpa -- and whether Osbourne is, in fact, hoping for anything resembling a reconciliation -- but it seems like a sign of kinder, more mature times to come. Osbourne and Aguilera wouldn't be the first celebs to fight and make up publicly. Here are other famous people who had some very famous spats and later buried the hatchet. Could Charlie Sheen and Chuck Lorre be next?
