Kelly Osbourne appeared on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" Wednesday with words for Kate Middleton regarding the praise the Duchess of Cambridge is receiving for recycling her clothes.

"In England they're like, 'Look how thrifty she's being, showing the British public that the royals are in a recession as well,'" Osbourne said, after the 29-year-old newlywed was seen at the wedding of Princess Anne's daughter Zara Phillips in previously worn outfits.

The night before Phillips wed rugby player Mike Tindall last weekend, Catherine wore the same green silk Diane von Furstenberg frock that she wore to an event in Los Angeles in July. For the wedding, Kate wore a cream-colored brocade coat that she had previously worn to the 2006 wedding of Laura Parker Bowles, Prince Charles' step-daughter.

"Well, I'm sorry but if I had that job I would only wear it once," the 26-year-old daughter of British rocker Ozzy Osbourne said, and "get a new dress every day."

Osbourne, who appears as a panelist on E!'s "Fashion Police", added, "If I am going to be the future bloody Queen of England I'm gonna wear that dress once because I'm giving up the rest of my life, all of my privacy, at least I can get a new dress every day."
