Kendall Jenner is finally speaking out about her father's transition. Since his divorce from Kris Jenner after 23 years of marriage, rumors have been circulating that former Olympian Bruce Jenner is transgender. The 65-year-old former "world's greatest athlete" is reportedly planning to document his transition in a spinoff series on E!. There has been speculation regarding Jenner's transition for months, though none of the Kardashians nor Jenners has spoken out -- until now.

While attending the Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber, Kendall Jenner stopped to chat with Us Weekly. The 18-year-old model confirmed that her father is in fact transitioning and endorsed his decision. She said Bruce is "a wonderful man" and his gender change will not change that.

"I love my dad. He's always been there for me and my sisters. He's a wonderful man," she shared. "And just because he's changing shoes now, so to speak, doesn't make him less wonderful. I will always love my dad, whether he's a man or a woman."

It was previously reported that Bruce's series, which would follow him on his road to gender reassignment surgery, was put on hold. Jenner allegedly told producers he felt rushed. According to TMZ, he did not feel comfortable moving forward with the TV show, nor the procedure, until he was certain all of his children were comfortable with his choice. He feared the show, reported to premiere in May, might compromise his family. Sources close to production say that while the show has been put on hold, it is highly unlikely that Jenner will back out.

It's a delicate balance: People reported his main goal is to raise awareness about the struggles faced by transgender people, but he fears the show may not be "the best format" to discuss such a sensitive and serious issue, according to a source. The source added that Jenner "wants this to be taken seriously so that [his situation] can have the most positive impact on society's perception of the transgender community."

In addition, Jenner is said to be struggling after being involved in a highly publicized car crash that left another motorist dead. It is unclear whether or not Bruce was at fault in the accident.

It has not yet been announced if the docu-series is going to happen or when viewers can expect to see it. Neither Jenner, nor other members of his famous family, have said any more about his transition.
