Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson shared her first pregnancy and labor with the world on reality television and may soon be repeating the process again in the near future. The 28-year-old former “Splash” contestant revealed this weekend that she is ready to try for baby number two with her husband and former NFL star Hank Baskett, 30.

Wilkinson, who was made famous for her role as one of Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends on “The Girls Next Door,” said she is planning to share her journey to expand her young family this summer on the upcoming season of the WE-TV series, “Kendra on Top.”

“I’m ready. I couldn’t be more ready and Hank couldn’t be more ready,” Wilkinson told People. “Our souls have connected,” she said, claiming the couple’s first son, 3-year-old Hank Baskett IV, has been asking for a sibling. “Little Hank keeps saying to us ‘I want a brother or a sister’ so we have to include him in our decision, too,” she said.

The reality star, who has long confessed to wanting to have another child, said a recent family vacation to South California’s Big Bear Lake solidified the couple's decision to expand their brood. “We found this new energy with each other, a new love, a new fascination with each other,” said Wilkinson. “Right now, we found the key to happiness. We have the key to marriage. We have the key to parenting. Why not right now bring a new life into this world while we’re this happy? It just makes sense,” she said.

The current mother of one said following the decision, she has begun preparing for pregnancy by cutting back on partying. Wilkinson told People in Feb. that her social life was the main reason for waiting before birthing another child. “I love having one kid right now and I give him everything I’ve got but if I have two, I know my little club days and going out once a week will be pretty much gone,” said Wilkinson. “I’m not ready for that kind of sacrifice yet."
